It is a precision thickness gauge that can be used to measure the coating thickness of all surfaces, including wood, plastic, steel, stone, concrete and so on. It can also measure coating thickness between 0 and 1500um (microns). It is a portable instrument that is easy to operate. Each instrument comes with an internal battery and a battery charger. It is a type of surface roughness gauge that is used to measure the thickness of coatings on metal substrates. It has a sensor head that can be moved within a range of ± 30 degrees with up to ±5mm stroke, and an air knife that can be adjusted to provide an air flow with a velocity of up to 600m/s. The device measures coating thickness by measuring the optical interference between the coating layer and the substrate base material.
