The unit features a remote sensor that is placed at the source of the sound, while the meter is located where it can best measure readings. It's ideal for use by surveyors and construction workers to comply with regulatory requirements on noise exposure. It features an LCD display that can be rotated 90° to convert it into a data logger. A 3.5mm earphone jack comes included with the unit, enabling you to listen in on sounds from 50 Hz to 8 kHz at 82 dB below the maximum level displayed .
